Panthers half extends deal
PENRITH has secured its halves partnership until the end of season 2024 after rising playmaker Jarome Luai re-signed with the 2020 grand finalists.
Luai has agreed to a threeyear extension with the club only three days after rookie centre Stephen Crichton also committed his future to the Panthers with a two-year deal.
Luai, Isaah Yeo and Nathan Cleary are the only players contracted beyond season 2023.
Luai burst on to the NRL scene in 2018 before having to bide his time behind fiveeighth James Maloney in 2019.
“I feel blessed to know I’ll be at Panthers for the next four years,” Luai said. “This is my home. This is where I grew up. This is my family. Every time I pull on that jersey, I’m playing for all those things and more.”
