Qld’s first gin caravan


G&T lovers everywhere get excited. A caravan dedicated to gin has launched in Queensland, giving holiday-makers the ultimate boozy vacation.

Scottish distillery The Botanist has joined forces with online caravan and campervan hiring platform Camplify, to launch Salty the Caravan (inset).

The renovated, beachy-themed vintage trailer comes with a free 700ml bottle of gin, four pack of tonic water and ingredient­s for making cocktails for those who book it for a long weekend between now and the end of June.

Travellers have to be at least 25 5 years old and can only set Salty up p within 50km of Tugun on the Gold Coast. However, that still means access to some of Queens- land’s best caravan parks such as s Tallebudge­ra Creek, Broadwater r Tourist Park and Main Beach Tourist Park so you can sip your G&T by the ocean.
