RACING RIGHT OR WRONG
ONE of Queensland’s mostloved gallopers will resume at Eagle Farm today in what may be his farewell campaign.
Right Or Wrong was once rated a genuine Group horse before a series of injuries.
Lindsay Gough produced a superb training performance last year to get the veteran gelding to his first win in more than four years.
The now nine-year-old galloper hasn’t won in seven starts since and resumes today in the 1200m Class Six Handicap at Eagle Farm. Apprentice Madeline Wishart will ride, claiming three kilograms on the 64kg topweight.
Despite his age, injuries have meant Right Or Wrong has had just 27 starts.
“He is going good but he is getting older, there is every chance this could be his last campaign as he turns 10 in August,” Gough said. “But he will be the judge of that.”
