St Joseph’s Primary South Grafton

The Daily Examiner - - NIE -

A GREAT turnout at the Parade of Youth last Saturday. Students marched proudly behind our very talented Drum Band and magnificent banner with the theme of the Grafton Bridge 85 years.

Special thanks to Wayne Gilholm, who co-ordinated this fantastic work of art. Congratulations to all the schools who were well represented and joined together to celebrate this ongoing tradition which showcases the true spirit on Grafton.

We look forward, with great excitement, to the Float Procession this Saturday where again the Grafton community will come together to celebrate the Jacaranda season. Our float will follow our school Drum Band.

Last weekend was a very special weekend for our children who received the Sacrament of First Holy Communion. Congratulations Brylee, Samuel, Max, Will M, Jack, Jackie, Sarah, Meliah, Lachlan, Natasha and Troy! This weekend, the children will join together with their families and the parish community to celebrate this special event in the grounds of St. Patrick’s Church, South Grafton, following the 9.30am Mass.

A reminder that this Thursday, Jacaranda Thursday, is again a gazetted holiday and as such, a pupil free day.
