It’s all there on the supermarket shelf

The Daily Examiner - - YOUR SAY -

IT IS excellent for our health, the environment and the billions of fish, birds and animals that are unfortunate to be caught up in our food system. As our western diet of animal products is full of cholesterol and saturated fats, and has no healthy fibre, it leads to major health issues.

Intensive animal farming is causing ecosystem damage and cruelty of shocking proportions that goes unseen by unsuspecting consumers.

That vegan options are becoming readily available in supermarkets and eateries is heartening and reassuring as at last people are learning that this is the healthiest, kindest, most sustainable lifestyle for people of all ages. Diane Cornelius, Seacliff Park, SA.
