Labour of love
In this short column this week, I wanted to give a shout out to all the dads and important men in our children’s lives who take on the domestic load on a daily basis. s.
It’s such a relief that old divisions of labour are fading away y so that those jobs, from cooking dinner to doing the washing, get done without much fanfare and, hopefully, without the need to bee asked.
While there are plenty of jobs too be done as we head into spring, it’s worth taking a moment tomorrow to celebrate lebrate the men that matter with breakfastst in bed, lunch on the lawn or a home- cooked dinner. If all else fails, a trip to Bunnings for a sausage sandwich should do the trick. Happy Father’s Day.
