Tigers prop arrested for indecent assault

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - - News - HENRY LYNCH

WESTS Tigers signing Zane Musgrove has been charged with a string of serious offences, including one of aggravated indecent assault, after a wild night at the Coogee Bay Hotel last month.

Partygoers were celebrating at the eastern suburbs hotspot on November 24 when a 22-year-old woman told security guards she had been indecently assaulted by two men. She reported the allegations to police and detectives investigated.

It took police less than two weeks to track down Wests Tigers recruit Musgrove, 22, who was arrested and charged with multiple offences, including aggravated indecent assault in company on December 5. A second man was arrested within one day of Musgrove in connection with the alleged assault.

Both men were granted conditional bail to face Waverley Local Court on January 23.

The NRL Integrity Unit has been alerted.
