Block killer ends case

A TRADES­MAN who spent 12 hours atop a Syd­ney unit block while his girl­friend’s body lay in a laneway be­low has pleaded guilty to her mur­der.

June Oh Seo, now 38, was ar­rested in Oc­to­ber 2017 af­ter a long stand-off with po­lice af­ter he climbed onto a per­spex bal­cony roof at the top of the block in Chatswood.

The body of Hee Kyung Choi, 34, had been found by a passer-by in the laneway be­low. In the NSW Supreme Court yes­ter­day, Seo pleaded guilty to her mur­der. He will face a sen­tence hear­ing on March 1, 2019.
