DALEY CALL FOR NEW IDEAS
OPPOSITION Leader Michael Daley has reiterated his pledge to hold a drug summit if Labor wins the NSW election in March following the latest festival death.
Mr Daley last month shifted his stance on pill testing saying it should not be discounted but Premier Gladys Berejiklian remains opposed to the idea.
“My stance on pill testing is very, very clear — we’ll hold a drug summit if I become the premier just like the very successful drug summit held by Bob Carr in the 90s because so much about the taking of drugs has changed since the 90s,” he said yesterday.
“I’ll say to the experts go away (and) come up with some ideas … nothing will be off the table.”
