Border security in peril

The Daily Telegraph (Sydney) - - Letters -

The bill on asylum seekers, proposed by Kerryn Phelps, if passed, may be remembered as the one move that could undo our border security (Anna Caldwell: “Independent sinkers”, 8/2).

Time will tell, but financial cost is one thing, loss of life another.

Through a single bill, the proposal seeks to undo all the good work of our protection agencies over the past decade and put Australian lives at risk.
