RACING 44 MONDAY FEBRUARY 11 2019 DAILYTELEGRAPH.COM.AU RON DUFFICY WARWICK FARM SNAPSHOT RUN OF THE DAY It’s hard for a backmarker to win on any day but when they do it twice in a row you have to stand up and take notice. Castelvecchio did exactly that when he stylishly won the $2 million Inglis Millennium. I don’t know where he sits in the Golden Slipper picture but one thing is for sure, he has stamped himself as an exciting colt. FORGET THEY RAN Nothing went right for Alternative Facts in the TAB Highway behind the very progressive Noble Boy. I think we can safely say that he should have finished a clear second. THE BLACK BOOK Purple Sector did a few good things last preparation when he showed promise. His firstup run in good company was an eye-catcher and he could easily shape up to the better three-year-olds once he gets to the mile. RIDE OF THE DAY While the punters cheered when Glyn Schofield rode Fiesta like the good thing she was, it was Blake Shinn who again showed his class. He looked the part with a winning double on Bivouac and Champagne Cuddles, riding both perfectly. THE WEEK AHEAD TODAY Tamworth, Queanbeyan TOMORROW Gosford, Lismore WEDNESDAY Warwick Farm THURSDAY FRIDAY Wagga Wagga Canterbury Park (night), Grafton, Quirindi Royal Randwick, Newcastle, Orange SATURDAY SUNDAY Port Macquarie, Nowra TELE01Z01MA - V1
