Chamber’s “extensive” Business Awards
Nominations not just coming from Corowa is a proposition that excites Corowa Business Chamber President Mary Hetherington, as the countdown continues to the big night.
“The Chamber is really looking forward to this year’s gala dinner, we have been really pleased with the amount of entries that have come for the business awards,” she told The Free Press.
“The nominations do cover the area of Corowa, but we have entries from Mulwala, Howlong and even Urana. It’s been very extensive which is great because we’ve really covered the Federation Council area.
“The Chamber felt it was very important to be inclusive, particularly as the council has been incredibly supportive of the business awards both financially and in kind.
“It has also been a great opportunity to meet some more fabulous people who are running some very exciting businesses throughout the Council area and we hope to keep this contact going with them moving forward.”
Ms Hetherington also said she is thankful for the support of the sponsors for the Corowa Business Chamber in allowing the event to happen, those being Canns Bus Management, Corowa Free Press, CIRCA, Corowa RSL Club, Federation Council, Health Culture, Hetherington Plumbing Services, IGA, Kilara
