Pick My Project is a community grants initiative which allows Victorians to come up with project ideas that will help make their local community an even better place to live, and then vote for their favourite projects to be funded.
All 2,299 submitted projects were assessed and reviewed, with 237 of them receiving enough votes to warrant funding.
Funding was split equally between metro and regional Victoria, with each of the six metro and nine regional partnership areas receiving a minimum of $1m.

The Rutherglen Scout Hall will share in $30 million after it was the only successful project out of six projects from the Rutherglen and Wahgunyah area, as part of the Victorian Government’s Pick My Project campaign.
Several joeys, cubs and scouts are filled with elation after the Rutherglen Scout Hall project was successful as part of Pick My Project, receiving $200,000 to go towards restoration of the hall.
