Young Roos utilise clinics
Nearly 50 kids from around the region took part in the football and netball clinics held at John Foord Oval on Sunday.
The Corowa Rutherglen Football Netball Club held its inaugural Family Fun Day under the spring sun, in what will continue to be an annual event for years to follow.
Corowa Rutherglen netball coach Georgie Bruce said the day was enjoyed by all, with kids learning the basics of football and netball under the close guidance of several senior Roos players.
The kids took part in different fun activities before enjoying a BBQ supplied by both Corowa Supa IGA and Woolworths.
Ms Bruce thanked both supermarkets as well as the volunteers who helped out on the day and offered their time, including members from Auskick and NetSetGo for their representation.
The handball targets were part of the footy clinic. Netball shooting practice. Marking practice.
