Young Roos utilise clin­ics

Nearly 50 kids from around the re­gion took part in the foot­ball and net­ball clin­ics held at John Fo­ord Oval on Sun­day.

The Corowa Ruther­glen Foot­ball Net­ball Club held its in­au­gu­ral Fam­ily Fun Day un­der the spring sun, in what will con­tinue to be an an­nual event for years to fol­low.

Corowa Ruther­glen net­ball coach Ge­orgie Bruce said the day was en­joyed by all, with kids learn­ing the ba­sics of foot­ball and net­ball un­der the close guid­ance of sev­eral se­nior Roos play­ers.

The kids took part in dif­fer­ent fun ac­tiv­i­ties be­fore en­joy­ing a BBQ sup­plied by both Corowa Supa IGA and Wool­worths.

Ms Bruce thanked both su­per­mar­kets as well as the vol­un­teers who helped out on the day and of­fered their time, in­clud­ing mem­bers from Aus­kick and NetSetGo for their rep­re­sen­ta­tion.
