1st prize – The Rich­mond pre­mier­ship jumper was won by a very happy Vicky McDougall.

2nd prize – the tool­box was won by an even hap­pier Terry Eyres.

The Corowa Res­cue Squad would like to say a very big thankyou to The Rich­mond Foot­ball Club along with Ryan, Rod and Rosie Garth­waite for the dona­tion of the Rich­mond jumper and to Peter Hughes for the won­der­ful fram­ing work. Thanks also to Ste­warts Au­to­mo­tive for the tool­box.

The trivia night went off with a bang with 11 ta­bles, laugh­ter and guess­ing of an­swers could be heard from the mid­dle of the foot­ball oval. The night was en­joyed by all who at­tended, with lo­cal teams tak­ing out the top three spots. Nights like these can­not be held with­out the sup­port of the lo­cal com­mu­nity and we would like to thank the fol­low­ing:

We train the sec­ond and fourth Mon­days of the month at 7pm and have a meet­ing on the third Mon­day of the month at 7.30pm. New mem­bers are al­ways wel­come. Sup­port the vol­un­teers that sup­port your com­mu­nity 24/7, 365 days a year.

The Corowa Res­cue Squad has drawn its ma­jor raf­fle for the year and also the aux­il­iary held its in­au­gu­ral trivia night. Both were a great suc­cess with around $6,000 be­ing raised for vi­tal equip­ment, such as a new stokes lit­ter.
