Under 17s

The under 17 lads came up against a team full of confidence in Chiltern.

The game started slowly, with the conditions proving quite difficult for both sides. It wasn’t until the last quarter that Cats really broke the game open.

The big ground at Chiltern suited the style of footy Rutherglen like to play and big Joey Brookes was a prime example of this. Brookes just ran all day and gave the forwards some really nice delivery. The back 6 were incredible all day allowing just 1 goal. The boys are really looking forward to a week off now after the last 6 weeks they definitely deserve it. Cats 13-9-87 Def Chiltern 1-6-12
