Felines update

With the Victorian lockdown in place, most sport along the border was cancelled for the weekend. This meant that our match against the Wangaratta Rovers was also cancelled. With luck and positive case numbers in Melbourne, hopefully sport will resume next weekend.

In the meantime, the Murray Felines are proud to say that four senior team members have been selected for the first interleagu­e match that has been organised for the North East Border Female Football League (NEBFFL).

The NEBFFL representa­tive team will play against AFL Canberra at the showpiece Robertson Oval at Wagga Wagga on the Queen’s Birthday weekend.

The players from the Felines nominated for the squad are Emily Nicholson, Emily Keys, Sinead Lang and Kaitlyn Robinson. We wish them all the best on what is an exciting venture to take part in the inaugural interleagu­e match.
