Forreal serves its breakfast menu all day, along­side lunch from 11am. Sis­ters Shonel Al­loway and Kylie Simp­son are hit­ting the brunch spot with ba­con and egg na­chos, served with jalapeño rel­ish and smashed avo. “An­other big hit is the braised beef brisket crois­sant, with a mac and cheese cro­quette and fried egg in­side,” Shonel says. The girls are in the process of ap­ply­ing for a liquor li­cense from 8am for some brekkie cock­tails but, for now, you can or­der a 10am bloody mary or, bet­ter still, a cham­pagne cock­tail. The best­seller is the pink cham­pagne with gin, rasp­ber­ries and a puff of pink cot­ton candy.
