Everything on Hot Shott’s menu is available all day because, according to co-owner Jenna Finch, there are no breakfast or lunchtimes any more. “People run to their own schedules these days and we cater for that,” she says. Jenna says the signature dish, the smokin’ rainbow trout with smashed avo, cherry tomato, red onion, dukkha, Danish feta and grilled lime on toasted sourdough, presented under glass with applewood smoke, is a perfect brunch option. She also suggests the custom bagel board, where bagels are served like quoits, amid prosciutto, smoked salmon, avocado, cheese and more.
