#wearegoldcoast Photography came into my life when I was looking for something else to get passionate about after focusing on my children for a long time. We have one of the biggest photography communities on the Coast and I love being an active part of it with my role in @igersgoldcoast

Pink Coast: I saw this sky developing as I drove home from work one afternoon. I stopped my car on the side of the road to capture it and got beeped about 10 times from golfers leaving my work and recognising me.

Under construction: If I’m not sure that the sunrise will pop, I will always try to go to Surfers Paradise to get some buildings in the photo.

Man on a mission: This is one of my best photography friends Mitch Gilmore. He is an amazing wave and underwater photographer.

Into the light: I love having a human element in my photos and this man was in the right place at the right time for me to capture him on his morning swim.

Sand pumping jetty: You can never take too many photos of this Gold Coast icon, one of my favourite sunrise locations with so many perspectives.

Gold rush: This surf lifesaver messaged me on Instagram: “I think that’s me in your photo? Can you send me a copy for my mum?” I happily obliged.

Motion blur: I love this style of photo. It’s taken at sunrise and the textures make me feel so calm. I always get the most engagement on these photos too.
