KIM Kardashian begged gunmen to spare her life when she was robbed in her Paris apartment.
The mother-of-two pleaded with the intruders to let her live: “I have babies, please tell them. I have a family, like, let me live.”
When one of the men grabbed her legs and taped her mouth shut, she thought she was going to be raped.
“I had no clothes on under. He pulled me towards him at the front of the bed and I thought ... this is the moment, they’re going to rape me,” Kardashian said in her first public account of the robbery of October 3 last year.
The star, 36, opens up to her sisters Kourtney and Khloe about the harrowing incident in today’s episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and said it would be “very tough” to watch.
She posted a series of messages on Twitter explaining why she wanted to open up about the terrifying ordeal.
She told her 50.5 million followers: “Tonight’s episode is going to be very tough for me. However, I thought it was important to share this story through my eyes and not in an interview where my own words could be twisted.
“I have always shared so much and I’m not going to hold back when this was probably one of the most life-changing experiences periences for me. me.”
Kardashian had travelled to Paris with her sisters for fashion week and was asleep in a private residence when the group of men burst into the apartment.
The robbers were dressed as French cops and initially the reality star thought they were her sister Kourtney and assistant Stephanie Sheppard coming in drunk.
“I’m calling to them, like, ‘hello! Hello!’. There’s no answer. My heart started to get really tense, like your stomach knots up. I knew something wasn’t quite right.”
She was left trembling, fearing for her life. “They had the gun up to me – I knew that was the moment, they’re just totally going to shoot me in the head.”
Kardashian said she thought of her sister Kourtney, who would find her body.
“I just prayed that Kourtney was going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed,” she said.
The men made off with jewellery believed to have been worth $14 million.
For several months after the ordeal, she took a break from social media.
The star, who has two children with husband Kanye West, wrote on Twitter that she would never wish the experience upon anyone, but has “learned some valuable lessons and feel so blessed to be safe home with my babies and husband”.d .
