These Aqualuma LED Lighting which won the Environmental Solutions award, Burleigh-based bridal brand Grace Loves Lace which took out the E-Commerce gong, electric skateboard manufacturers Evolve Skateboards, Regional Exporter, and Surfers Paradisebased Opmantek which was named Digital Technologies winner.
A line-up of industry experts and suppliers will be on hand at the event next week to provide expertise to Coast firms looking to export within ASEAN.
The free speed networking event will cover topics imperative to firms looking to export into South-East Asia including legal and tax issues, licensing and approvals, and navigating customs.
Trade and Investment Queensland’s Indonesian trade commissioner, Oka Simanjuntak, will stream live from Jakarta to talk about cultural differences in working with Asian countries.
“We hope this event encourages those businesses flying under the radar to stand up and be recognised,” Ms Ward said.
It is being held on May 24 from 10am at the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre, Broadwater Parklands, Southport.
