Man seriously injured in crash

A man in his 20s is fighting for life following a car crash in Southport early Monday. It is understood his vehicle hit a tree on the corner of Cotlew St East and Ferry Road shortly before 5am.

New M1 law that has truckies fuming

Nearly 300mm of rain in three days

More than 184mm of rain hit the Hinterland over the weekend and more is on the way. “The rain should slow down a little bit today (Monday) before another burst on Tuesday,” said Bureau of Meteorolog­y forecaster Gordon Banks. If the falls eventuate, the Coast will have been hit by nearly 300mm of rain in just three days.
