STEALING – BROADBEACH

Police are trying to identify a man who allegedly stole luggage and personal belongings from a car parked at a Broadbeach shopping centre.

Between 11.30am and 12pm on July 11 a man entered an unlocked vehicle and removed luggage belonging to the victim and a company he works for.

The suspect is described as 20-30 years, possibly Middle Eastern appearance with black hair and beard and dressed in a grey shirt and grey coat with blue jeans and white shoes.

Police want the public’s help to find a woman who might have informatio­n about a theft Elanora last month.

Around 6.15pm on June 29 a woman entered a beauty store at The Pines Shopping Centre and was looking around the makeup section. She tested foundation and moved to the back of the store where she removed a beauty cream from its box and concealed it.

At the counter, she paid for the foundation but did not try and pay for the cream.

The woman is described as caucasian, fair complexion, aged around her 50s, average build, tall in height, blonde hair in a ponytail and was wearing a black shirt, black pants, black shoes, hooped earrings, and carrying a brown “Oroton” bag.

Police have released CCTV of two males they are seeking in connection to the attempted break and enter of a restaurant at Mermaid Beach this month. Around 3.25am on July 2 two men tried to enter the Gold Coast Hwy building by positionin­g an industrial bin so they could enter through the roof. Damage was caused to tiles and plastering, but the pair were unable to get in.

Both men are described as caucasian, in their early 20s, slim with dark short hair. One is wearing a white shirt with black jeans. The other wore a black shirt, grey coat and grey jeans.
