Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark, the husband of Princess Mary, was turned away from a Brisbane bar. The Crown Prince was stunned when told he and his entourage needed ID to enter a pub. The incident happened at Jade Buddha bar at the Eagle St Pier just before midnight on Friday.

Woman injured at go karting facility

A woman in her 40s has been hospitalised after crashing at a popular Go Karting facility. Emergency services were called to the scene on Siganto Drive at Helensvale just after 7.30pm on Monday. The woman was transported in a stable condition to Pindara Private Hospital.

Faulty lift claims life of young mum

A young mother has been killed in a hospital lift tragedy. The woman, 26, is said to have been killed as she was transported on a stretcher between the floors of a hospital in Seville, Spain, on Sunday. The lift reportedly started moving upwards before the stretcher was fully removed from the elevator trapping the unidentified woman’s head.
