One is so excited: baby joy again for Royals
THERE’S a third bundle of joy on the way for royals Kate and Wills.
Kensington Palace announced last night that Prince William’s wife Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, was pregnant.
The child will be a younger sibling to Prince George, 4, and Princess Charlotte, 2.
The Queen, 91, was said to be delighted by the news.
Kensington Palace made the announcement after Catherine unexpectedly cancelled an appearance at a children’s centre.
The 35-year-old duchess is suffering from acute morning sickness, the same condition she experienced during her two previous pregnancies.
She was admitted to hospital while pregnant with Prince George but is being cared for at Kensington Palace.
The baby will be fifth in line to the throne, behind Princess Charlotte, Prince George, their father Prince William and grandfather Prince Charles, who is the current heir.
Prince Harry, brother of Prince William, will be bumped back to sixth in line to the throne.
Catherine made a public appearance last week with Prince William and Prince Harry when they visited a memorial garden dedicated to princes’ late mother Diana, and did not show any apparent hint of a baby bump.
The happy news comes as the royal family seeks to draw a line under the 20th anniversary of Princess Diana’s death on August 31.
The anniversary prompted a new round of media interest in the late princess and painted her former husband Prince Charles and his now-wife, then-mistress Camilla ParkerBowles in an unflattering light.
