Aussies bewildered by ‘Yes’ SMS

The marriage equality campaign has taken a new turn, after many people received a text message on Saturday calling on them to vote “Yes” in the postal survey. The text message that came from a phone user titled YesEqualit­y read: “The Marriage Equality Survey forms have arrived! Help make history and vote YES for a fairer Australia. VoteYes.org.au.”

Prince Andrew pays a visit to Bond Uni

Prince Andrew has been surrounded by budding entreprene­urs during his Glitter Strip visit. On Saturday, Prince Andrew was welcomed at Bond University with two pecks on the cheek by Jane Ferguson, the sister of the Duke’s former wife Sarah Ferguson. He visited the campus to judge the brightest entreprene­urial minds from Queensland, the Northern Territory and Northern NSW as part of his passion project, Pitch@Palace Australia, an initiative to promote start-up businesses. By using his regal connection­s, Prince Andrew has helped to develop a combined turnover of about $600 million since the project kicked off in 2014.
