THEY’RE the images that will take your breath away. Renowned videographer Tim Caraco will tonight release a follow-up to his famous Gold Coast timelapse, which was viewed by millions across the globe when it was released three years ago. The new video, shot using the latest technology, shows the Gold Coast in a stunning and unexpected light.

IT’S the Gold Coast as you’ve never seen it before.

Three years after an incredible timelapse of the Gold Coast went viral, viewed by millions around the globe, the highly-anticipated sequel by local videographer Tim Caraco is about to be released.

The stunning Gold Coast Part 1 featured more than 10,000 photos shot in timelapse over six years and showcased the city’s most brilliant landscapes from Springbrook to Snapper Rocks.

Now, three years on, Caraco’s Part 2 takes cinematography to the next level, shooting the Gold Coast’s most famous landscapes and hidden gems using hyperlapse, drone timelapse and slow motion.

“You’re going to see the Gold Coast from a different perspective, it’s the next step up from timelapse,” Caraco told the Gold Coast Bulletin ahead of the global reveal exclusively at goldcoastbulletin.com.au

“I’ve flown drones over Springbrook, hiked for hours to remote places you can only get to by foot and perched on rocks shooting gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.

“I discovered locations on the Gold Coast I never knew existed like Pinnacle Ridge where you have to hike for 1.5 hours before you reach a really steep ridge face with incredible vista views.”

Caraco has travelled the world but nothing comes close to the Gold Coast’s beauty – an inspiration driving his work.

“I want Gold Coasters to feel proud about where we live and to feel inspired to get out and explore,” he said.

Caraco has partnered with the Gold Coast Bulletin and the City of Gold Coast to produce Gold Coast Part 2. And it is jaw-droppingly good.

It will be revealed exclusively at goldcoastbulletin.com.au at 7pm tonight and on the Gold Coast Bulletin’s Facebook page.

If you love this city as much as we do, be sure to share the video and shout from the rooftops about the fabulous Gold Coast.

I WANT GOLD COASTERS TO FEEL PROUD ABOUT WHERE WE LIVE AND TO FEEL INSPIRED TO GET OUT AND EXPLORE. TIM CARACO
