HEAVY RAINS BRING A HUNT FOR TOP CRABS

IT has been a good week for mudcrabs and sandcrabs – it usually is after heavy rain. The jewfish bite has been red hot too in Jumpinpin bar. There are still heaps of flatties being caught as well as whiting, despite the dirty water color from the storm run off. Fish where there is any run off from the storm; look for drains and creek mouths and expect predators like Mangrove Jacks and big flathead to be waiting.
