The Gold Coast Bulletin

Time to display our Gold

-

THE Gold Coast is one of the most picturesque locations on the planet and we want to celebrate it.

To do this the Gold Coast Bulletin has launched, #SnapGoldCoast, a social media campaign to share pride in our home with the rest of country and the world.

The Gold Coast is synonymous with sun, surf and sand – but there is much more to this complex place than may initially meet the eye.

From high rise beachside towers to cascading waterfalls and beautiful headlands to luscious rainforests, there really is something for everyone and something for every photographer, whatever their ability.

To get you started we have compiled six amazing photos from across the region, including the sand pumping jetty at Main Beach and a waterfall inside a cave in the Gold Coast Hinterland.

Budding photographers will be joining similar quests in capital cities and regions across the country as part of the News Corp initiative in partnership with Canon Australia and Harvey Norman Photo Centre.

All you have to do is snap, hashtag your post #SnapGoldCoast and share on our Facebook page, or on Instagram or Twitter.

You can post any day at any time, but on November 22 (the day of the campaign) we encourage all Gold Coasters to take a photo, wherever you are, and tag it #SnapGoldCoast.

So get outdoors, enjoy this fantastic time of year and happy snapping!
