JACK Black has become embroiled in a School of Ragnaroth battle as the cast and crew of Thor: Ragnarok celebrate the blockbuster’s status as the world’s No.1 movie.

Director Taika Waititi (pictured) posted an image on Instagram showing star Chris Hemsworth posing under a No.1 Movie in the World headline, captioned: “Whatever. Like I care. Kua mau te wehi! Mauri ora whanau.”

The film’s success prompted

School of Rock

star Black to call out Thor for “stealing” the Led Zeppelin classic track Immigrant Song in

Thor: Ragnarok and challenge Hemsworth to a Battle of the Jams.

Hemsworth responded to Black’s claims on social media, owning up to the theft and answering the call.

“We stole Immigrant Song

from you but guess what – you stole it too,” Hemsworth says in his video reply.

“And as Oscar Wilde once says, talent borrows and genius steals. So we’re both guilty of the same crime. We would have used your song but as you said in your song (Tenacious D’s anthem Tribute), this is not the greatest song in the world, so we moved on.”

The Ragnaroth feud continued when Black and co-star Cate Blanchett posted a video from the set of The House with a Clock in its Walls.

The clip shows the duo and director Eli Roth making fun of Thor: Ragnarok in slomo fight scene to Immigrant Song.
