NEWS Corp is responding to digital disruption by making what it believes are smart investments in sustainable growth strategies, executive chairman Rupert Murdoch says.

Speaking at the publisher’s annual meeting in Los Angeles, Mr Murdoch said the world today was “defined and challenged by disruption in many fields”.

He said News Corp was “experiencing constant digital transformation as well as making, we hope, smart investments in sustainable strategies for growth”.
