WHERE’S MY BABY

DAD’S PLEA TO FIND MISSING GIRL

- CHRIS CLARKE

A COURT has ordered urgent action be taken by the Australian Federal Police to find a missing little girl with links to the Gold Coast.

Alia Bugsy Goble, 4, was last seen in northern NSW on April 14.

It is believed she has been kidnapped by her mother Tarryn Leigh Corlet, 43, who hails from the Tweed area.

Alia is just the fourth child in recent years to have her case brought to light, after the Federal Circuit Court made a rare publication order.

Her father, Andrew Goble, yesterday told The Gold Coast Bulletin about the torment of not knowing if his daughter was safe.

“In the long-term, I fear for her mental wellbeing because she is growing up without a father,” he said.

Mr Goble described Alia as a “very cheeky person” with a loving and fun personality.

He said he last saw her soon after her fourth birthday party when he visited Alia and Tarryn at Tarryn’s home in Kingscliff, NSW in early April.

Asked if he had any idea where his daughter might be, Mr Goble said: “I have no idea. I thought possibly down in Sydney, but I honestly don’t know. It could be anywhere.”

“(I feel a lot of) heartbreak and shock,” he said.

“As time goes on I miss her more and more.”

Tarryn has light brown hair, brown eyes and fair complexion. She is approximately 165cm tall and is slightly built.

Alia has short fair hair and blue eyes. She has fair skin, is approximately 97cm tall and has a dimple in her chin.

Police have not nailed down their possible whereabouts, but the pair have relatives on the Gold Coast and on the Central Coast of NSW.

Police are also searching for missing Queensland children Serena and Thomas Speath, who have not been seen since December 5, 2014 and are believed to be with their mother Jane Adare. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
