INDOOR CENTRE READY TO RUMBLE

THE new Coomera Indoor Sports Centre will host 21 medal events for the gymnastics competitions and netball finals at GC2018.

The Queensland and Australian Governments invested $40 million into the state-ofthe-art facility, the only venue in the state with eight mixeduse sports courts.

The project supported 130 jobs during design and construction with a majority of Queensland businesses engaged to deliver the project.

The venue consists of a gymnastics arena, function rooms, meeting rooms, change rooms and a kiosk.

The centre has enjoyed an early legacy by hosting a variety of events, providing much-needed community infrastructure to support the growing Coomera population.

For GC2018, the public can witness the amazing feats in the artistic gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics competitions as well as netball finals.
