Killers face sentencing

THREE men who have pleaded guilty to killing Max Waller will be sentenced today.

The sentencing hearing for Finks bikies Wade Yates-Taui, Benjamin Mortimer and nonbikie co-accused Cohen Smith continued in the Brisbane Supreme Court yesterday.

Waller, 28, died outside the Broadbeach apartment complex Carmel by the Sea on June 23, 2013.

He suffered wounds to his chest and arms and his bloodied body was found by a friend who had been staying on the sixth floor of the building.

The trio were originally charged with Waller’s murder, but pleaded guilty to manslaughter in June.
