Tiger’s $10 flight sale

ON this day 10 years ago Tigerair flew into the Gold Coast Airport for the first time.

A decade on and the Coast is one of the airline’s most popular destinations with almost 5 million passengers passing through the terminals.

Spokeswoman Vanessa Regan said services through the Coast had increased 130 per cent since November 2007.

“To celebrate today’s significant milestone, we’re doing what we do best – providing the gift of affordable air travel to all Australians, with fares to everywhere we fly on sale starting from just $10,” she said.

The sale begins at 9am this morning and will continue until midnight.
