Cambage out for one game

STAR Melbourne Boomers centre Liz Cambage will miss tonight’s WNBL table- topping clash away to Townsville after submitting an early guilty plea to a charge of kneeing Canberra import Mistie Bass.

Had Cambage unsuccessfully challenged the unduly rough conduct charge at the tribunal last night, the ban would have been increased to two matches.

The 26-year-old Opal will now be free to return for Sunday’s home clash against the Sydney University.
