Crash man overboard

A MAN was thrown into the water after his boat collided with another vessel at Surfers Paradise yesterday.

Ambulance crews transported the 60-year-old after he experienced a medical episode before crashing into another boat at the northern end of Surfers Paradise at 2.05pm yesterday.

The man was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

A police spokesman said the man was “thrown into the water” and was dazed and confused when crews arrived.
