LNP veteran MP Jann Stuckey was concerned about this campaign, dug in at her electorate and nervous at the start of the count. Her margin under new boundaries increased from 5.2 per cent to 5.7 per cent. But Labor’s Georgi Leader campaigned hard. Ms Stuckey’s vote on a two-party preferred count is down from 55.2 per cent in 2015 to 52.4 per cent. The Greens maintained their vote but Labor increased its vote by six per cent. This is the next seat to be targeted by Labor. The unknown is will Ms Stuckey recontest in 2020.
