Kennewell eyes Coast

SOUTH Australian trainer Lloyd Kennewell is no stranger to success at the Gold Coast Magic Millions race day and he could be headed for more.

Kennewell looks like he has a smart two-year-old in La Pomme De Pin, who streeted her rivals in the Magic Millions Clockwise Classic (1000m) at Ballarat on Saturday.

The I Am Invincible filly picked up $122,000 for the win to stamp her credentials for the Magic Millions 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast in January.

Kennewell has already tasted success on the Gold Coast’s premier race day, with Deiheros winning the Magic Millions 3YO Guineas in 2015.
