Hunt for dog owner
THE RSPCA is searching for the owner of a dog that was found in such appalling condition she had to be put down.
The 10-year-old dog was surrendered by a member of the public at the RSPCA’s Wacol shelter on Friday but her microchip revealed she was originally registered as ‘Chyna’ to an address in Mermaid Beach.
Chyna had a massive tumour in her stomach that was inoperable.
RSPCA vets also found she had kidney disease, liver problems, anaemia and terrible conjunctivitis.
They made the difficult decision to put her down yesterday morning.
