Auctions take hit

ONLY 41 per cent of the 66 homes taken to auction on the Gold Coast in the past week sold, according to new data.

It was the lowest auction result out of five regions listed in CoreLogic’s Property Market Indicator Summary for the week ending November 26.

In comparison, the Hunter Valley recorded a 82.9 per cent clearance rate out of 51 auctions. However, the Coast is preparing for a final selling blitz before the Commonwealth Games.
