Phone boost for north

-

TELSTRA has proposed two mobile phone-boosting antennas for the northern Coast.

The “low-power mobile technology” would be installed on Energex light poles on Gaven’s Banyula Dr and Carrara’s Woolmere St.

The small antennas would boost 4G data services. Optus is also proposing its own small cell devices at Northcliffe Terrace and The Esplanade in Surfers Paradise.

Public submissions will be accepted until December 13 for the Telstra projects and December 14 for the Optus cell.
