Cannabis crop found

CLOSE to $1 million of cannabis was seized at a property in the Northern Rivers yesterday.

Police found 420 cannabis plants when Local Area Command executed a search warrant at a home south of Uki at Commissioners Creek, .

A sophisticated hydroponic set-up was found in the home as well as a “significant amount” of fertilisers and hydroponic equipment.

Investigators, who have yet to make any arrests in relation to the warrant, estimate the crop has a street value of about $990,000.
