2009

2014

September 29: Joint Dally M Player of the Year with Johnathan Thurston.

October 15: Announces he is quitting rugby league to pursue an NFL career.

2015

September 14: NFL debut: 49ers v Vikings.

December 20: Hayne and friends meet up with Ms V and friends in a San Jose bar.

December 21: In the early hours, Ms V claims Hayne takes her to his San Jose home via Uber where she says she is raped.

2016

April 7: Ms V goes to hospital emergency department for an examinatio­n. Declines to speak to police.

May 15: Hayne announces he is quitting the 49ers to join Fiji rugby sevens team.

May: Ms V reports the alleged rape to San Jose police.

July 11: Fiji announces Hayne has not been selected for Rio Olympics squad

August 2: Hayne returns to NRL by signing two-year deal with Gold Coast Titans.

September: Video emerges of Hayne partying with alleged Hells Angel bikie Chris Bloomfield. He escapes NRL sanction.

October 25: Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office rejects criminal case for insufficie­nt evidence.

2017

August 21: Titans coach Neil Henry sacked after falling out with Hayne.

October 7: Named in Fiji World Cup squad.

December 1: Eels announce Hayne has signed a 12-month deal for 2018.
