WSL lock in junior events

KIAMA has been confirmed as the host town for next month’s world junior surfing championship.

The men’s and women’s junior world champions will be crowned at the end of the event, running from January 4-13, which follows a series of qualifying competitions.

“The WSL Junior Championships have long existed as the barometer for future greatness, a springboard to the elite level and have crowned some of our sport’s greatest icon,” said WSL deputy commissioner Travis Logie.
