VOLLEYBALL BUILDS FOR EXCITING DEBUT

The temporary stadium construction for the GC2018 Beach Volleyball competition in Queen Elizabeth Park at Coolangatta begins on January 8.

Beach Volleyball makes its Commonwealth Games debut right here on the Gold Coast and the excitement is building ... literally!

The Get Set for the Games team have been in Coolangatta talking one-onone to residents and businesses about what they can expect in the lead up to and during the April 2018 main event. They are also keen for as many people as possible – residents, businesspeople and visitors – to stop in at their pop-up information booths at the following times and locations:

■ Monday 8 January Queen Elizabeth Park (opposite the Strand) - 8am to 12pm

■ Thursday 11 January The Strand Shopping Centre (Level 1) - 11am to 7pm

■ Saturday 13 January Queen Elizabeth Park (opposite the Strand) - 7am to 1pm
