COAST ON THE MOVE

Three mobile visitor information centres will be rolled out across the Gold Coast during the Games.

The mobile visitor ‘pods’ will be shipping containers fitted out to provide a unique space for people seeking information about the Gold Coast.

Gold Coast Mayor Tom Tate said the pods would be located in busy visitor precincts during the Games.

“The visitor pods will be located in Southport, Broadbeach and Coolangatta and offer great information about our city.” said Cr Tate.

“It’s all part of making sure we create a great first impression for our guests.”
