Dash cam footage captured the moment a washing machine made a spectacular fall from a trailer while the driver was turning off Hooker Blvd on to Gold Coast Highway at Broadbeach.
In the footage posted by Dash Cam Owners Australia, the washer wobbled as the driver took off from the lights and toppled as the 4WD made the sharp turn on to Gold Coast Highway.
It smashed across two lanes, sending debris flying.
The driver quickly pulled over.
Motorists are reminded to ensure their loads are correctly secured.
