Tears over fraud claims

-

A BURLEIGH woman who used a stolen bank card to pay for fuel and was found with a knife has been granted bail.

Tamara Louise Crestani, 27, cried at Southport Magistrates Court as she faced two fraud charges and one count each of possessing a weapon and possession a utensil used in relation to a crime. She has also been charged for breaching her bail agreement.

Duty lawyer Ross Oden said Crestani had been given 10 days to leave her home at a hotel as it was being demolished. Her partner had also recently died of an overdose leaving her with two young children.
